Ian is probably best known for his role as one of the professional dancers on The BBC's hit show Strictly Come Dancing. Having appeared in almost every series aired, competing in six of them, he has built up a following of dedicated fans and has become a highly respected and recognisable figure and personality in the world of dance.

Ian's dance career started at the age of ten when he accompanied his younger brother to Saturday dance lessons and was enticed onto the dance floor for the first time. It was clear to all that despite being in his school rugby and football teams, Ian was a born performer and dancer!

Former Latin American dance champion Mary Richardson spotted Ian's potential and took him under her wing, she put him through a rigorous medalist regime, and by the age of 14 Ian had completed all his grades and had won almost every competition he was entered for...

Ian went on to compete internationally on the open circuit where he won the title of 'European Youth Latin American Champion'.

With this accolade under his belt, Ian partnered with Melanie Walker. This began a ten year relationship that saw the duo compete all over the world, representing England in many World and European championships. The rest, Ian says, is history.

Modest about his achievements and passionate about his career, Ian was born to dance and entertain, and continues to delight and inspire those he meets.

A big Thank You to everybody who has followed my career and danced this journey with me!

Ian has a growing and enthusiastic fan-base who regularly turn out to his live performances nationwide. He is incredibly grateful for their continued support and loyalty - a special mention must go to Ian's International Angels!
